The children in 5O have made animation movies. After writing their story boards, the children made their sets. For the characters they used plasticine, lego or other miniature figures. Then they got on with taking loads of pictures and editing their films. 5O thanks the children in 6AC who helped with the editing.

Our annual Harvest Assembly provides the children with an opportunity to express appreciation for the wide variety of foods and drinks they can enjoy and also think about people who lack a plentiful supply of food.
In last year’s Harvest Assembly we focused upon the care shown to vulnerable people by two charities. We would like to continue this association in 2009. The first of the charities is
St Mungo’s, which supports homeless people in many of the London boroughs. One aspect of its work is to provide food in emergency night shelters and longer term hostels. The other charity, based in Orpington, Kent, is Smile International. We will be concentrating upon the efforts of a worker from the charity named John Matiza.
