SPORT IN SCHOOL

In order to develop positive attitudes in sport the children are taught to observe the conventions of fair play, honest competition and good sporting behaviour as team members, individual participants and spectators. The school has football, netball, rugby, cricket, rounders and athletics teams who participate regularly in inter-school competitions.  Every year all children take part in a Sports Day. 

Year 5 children receive swimming instruction at the local baths and the school takes part in a swimming gala with other local schools.
