Starting School September 2023

Children born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 will be due to start school in Reception in September 2023.

The application period opened on Thursday 1 September 2022 and the closing date is Sunday 15 January 2023.

We are delighted to offer prospective parents with the opportunity to visit our school to meet with staff and pupils and to find out all about Hurst Primary School.

We will be holding four open mornings during the application period - Thursday 3 November (FULLY BOOKED), Wednesday 23 November (FULLY BOOKED) and Tuesday 10 January.  All sessions start at 9.15 am with a warm welcome from our Head Teacher, Ms Longley, followed by a tour of the school accompanied by staff and our House Captains.  Parents will have an opportunity to visit all classes, particularly classes in our early years department (Reception).  The morning will finish at 10.30 am with refreshments and an opportunity for informal chats with staff in our small hall.
